We hope you will take this opportunity to meet and educate your Senator and Representative about what dental hygienists do and what we can do to help meet the oral health needs of those living in your community. With so many new legislators in the Minnesota Legislature this year, they want to hear from you!

Please visit www.leg.state.mn.us and look for "who represents me" to find your legislators. If you click on the name it will bring you to a page giving you information on your Representative or Senator. We encourage you to use the contact information and schedule appointments to meet them while you are visiting the buildings.

If you have never joined us for Day at the Capitol, you have missed out on a great time! Not only do you get to network with other hygienists and student dental hygienists, you have the opportunity to see your capitol and how legislation works in Minnesota.

From I-94W:
Take Kellogg Blvd/Marion Street Exit (241A) Take left onto Marion Street. Crossing over I-94. Best Western Kelly Inn located on right.

From I-94E:
Take Marion Street exit (241A) Best Western Kelly Inn will be on your right as you come up the exit.

From 35E South:
Take Kellogg Blvd exit. Take left on to Kellogg Blvd. Go 5 1/2 blocks. Best Western Kelly Inn is located on right hand side of the road once you cross I-94.
