Ms. Clare Larkin, RDH, MEd.
Ms. Clare Larkin, RDH, MEd. will be in Willmar to explain about Limited Authorization for Dental Hygienists and the Collaborative Practice Agreement that a Dentist and Hygienist may develop.
Ms. Larkin is the MnDHA spokesperson regarding the Collaborative Practice Agreement in Minnesota. She helped develop a collaborative agreement template and is the Collaborative Practice educator at Metropolitan State University. She is also a liaison for the Minnesota Board of Dentistry on inquiries regarding Limited Authorization for Dental Hygienists, aka Collaborative Practice Agreements.
Dr. Colleen Brickle, RDH EdD
Dr. Colleen Brickle, RDH EdD, via WEB EX, will explain the dental therapist/advanced dental therapist and how these new providers work with the dentist and as part of the dental team. Dr. Brickle is the Dean of Health Sciences at Normandale Community College and was instrumental in developing, in partnership with Metropolitan State University, the Advanced Dental Therapist program.
